Exciting News – B2baB Rebrand!
Dear Friends of B2baB,
I hope this message finds you well. We’re thrilled to share transformative news about our organization, and we want to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support. As you know, we’ve always been committed to providing underserved students with access to international education and global experiences. Now, we’re taking an important step forward to better reflect our growing impact and mission.
Introducing
World at Hand!
As of today, October 1, 2024, we are officially rebranding from Blessed to Be a Blessing to World at Hand. The past four years as B2baB have been essential to the creation and development of our grassroots organization. We are closing this chapter on a high note, but that's just the beginning. Stay tuned for more exciting updates coming soon!
This new name reflects our vision of connecting more students to the global community and expanding the opportunities we offer. While our name is changing, our overall goal and mission remain the same: to remove barriers to international education for underrepresented students and provide them with life-changing global experiences.
What’s Next for Our Programs?
We will continue to offer and grow our core programs within the International Education Equitable Access Pipeline (IEEAP), which you have helped make possible:
Informational Programs – Providing students, parents, and educators with essential resources on studying abroad and its benefits.
Blessed Scholars Online Travel Academy (BSOTA) – Free, online courses designed to prepare students for studying and traveling abroad.
Global Access Passport Program (GAP) – Helping students obtain passports and preparing them for global opportunities.
Study Abroad Scholarships – Financial assistance for students to pursue international education.
In addition, we are launching two new pilot programs in the 2024-2025 academic year:
What’s Next Career Prep – Supporting students post-travel with career guidance and personal development.
Dreamers Abroad – Assisting DACA students (Dreamers) with financial and legal support to obtain the necessary paperwork to safely return to the U.S. after traveling abroad for school, work, or visiting family.
We aim to impact over 300 students this next year!
How You Can Continue to Make a Difference
As we continue to grow, we need your support more than ever. Here are three impactful ways you can help us as we embark on this exciting new chapter:
Become a Monthly Donor
We are launching a campaign to increase monthly donations, allowing us to provide ongoing support for students and build a sustainable future for our programs. By becoming a monthly donor, you help ensure that students continue to access the life-changing experiences they deserve. Even a small, recurring donation can make a big difference. Please visit worldathand.org to set up your monthly contribution today.Volunteer or Join Our Board
We’re seeking passionate individuals to join us as program volunteers or board members. Whether it’s working with students in GAP or What’s Next Career Prep, hosting informational sessions, assisting with program logistics, or lending your expertise to our board, your involvement will help us reach more students and enhance the impact of our programs. If you’re interested in volunteering or joining our board, please complete our volunteer form.Spread the Word
Help us reach even more students and community members by sharing our rebrand and mission with your network. Whether it’s forwarding this email, sharing our new website, or encouraging others to get involved, your advocacy will expand our reach and enable us to connect with new supporters, volunteers, and students.
Thank you for being a vital part of our journey. Together, we can continue to create a world where every student has the opportunity to experience the life-changing benefits of international education. We look forward to achieving even greater things with your help.
All the best,
